The Administration of the Port of Recife - APR, is defined as a State Run Company, linked to the Ministry of the Transports through the Companhia Docas do Rio Grande do Norte - CODERN.
Presently it is governed by the law 8.630/93 with norms and related procedures to its application and operation, determined by the Port Authority Counseling Committee - CAP, associated organ of deliberation.
