The Gulftainer Brazil was honored with the trophy Top Entrepreneur late on Wednesday, December 16, at the 11th edition of the award of Magazine Top of Business. The ceremony took place in Hakka event space in the neighborhood of Liberdade in São Paulo (SP), and brought together celebrities, successful entrepreneurs and companies reminded of different sizes and industries from all over Brazil. "We are focused on developing our business in the country and actively seeking expansion opportunities in our activities. Thanks for recognition ", thanked the director general of Gulftainer Brazil, Emerson Buarque, upon receiving the award. The competitors are indicated by subscribers and journalists Magazine Top of Business, media, suppliers and employees, customers, partners, associates and honored the previous editions. Among the criteria used are leadership, technology, innovative products and solutions, entrepreneurship, work performed, project development, articles published in the press and tradition in the market.
The Gulftanier Brazil invested in the professionalization of its management, restructuring the company's management. In the first half of 2015 recorded a 7% increase in cargo handling and 25% in its operating results in Pernambuco, in the ports of Recife and Suape (which is in Ipojuca, in the Metropolitan Region of Recife) compared with the same period of 2014. In the third quarter, the results still remained positive compared to last year, despite the challenges of the Brazilian economy. "2015 has been a challenging year, but we continue to develop our core business in Recife, in coordination with port authorities and other stakeholders. For 2016, we will continue actively seeking opportunities in Brazil, considering the great demand that the country has for international quality port operations in order to support their economic growth, "said Buarque.
