The administration building of Porto do Recife is colored pink in honor of the month of prevention of breast cancer. In addition to decoration, various activities are being held. Last Thursday (05), officials were able to confer a talk with the resident doctor of the Cancer Hospital Thaynan Gonçalves. The moment, held in the auditorium, also had a draw of gifts.

This action is part of the Maré de Saúde campaign launched at the end of September, whose objective is to move the port class every month with a program focused on well-being. The first event was held on the 28th of last month under the topic of Blood pressure and eye care. On the date, a team of professionals from the City Hall of Recife gave a talk on hypertension and also set up stands for pressure measurement. The moment followed with action from the Santa Luzia Hospital, which performed glaucoma screening.

The Health Tide campaign will follow through to the end of the year. In October, activities continue on the 18th, with the presence of women from the Rendarte project, a group of hairdressers who make wigs to deliver to cancer patients. The team will come to the administrative building of the Port of Recife to tell a little about the importance of this action. At the same time, one of the port workers will make a statement about how she overcame breast cancer.

The idea of ​​the campaign is to educate employees about health care, encouraging well-being and motivation to always have a better life.
